gathering christmas decor
I love unique ornaments. These are half raw wood & half white painted wood.. so they're both unique and they won't break if Snoopy runs into the tree while we're playing fetch in the house!
Well I have officially caught the bug. I have recently found myself addicted to shopping for holiday decor.. proving all retailers that I will shop for Christmas decor before the day after Thanksgiving. <insert sigh>
These fun tweed trees complement my design style perfectly.. I love that they are holiday, with a little bit of sparkle, but also could translate to a winterscape design. Found at home goods.
I've been frequenting home goods, which is definitely my favorite place to shop, along with places like paper source & patina's (thanks to Emily). So, although I realize it isn't even Thanksgiving yet, I thought I'd share some of my finds.
These cute little copper trees are from paper source & have a battery pack, so they don't need to be plugged in! I'm thinking these will look so cute hanging on the mantel. Also, the website length is incorrect - these are ~5.75 ft long.
It's probably no surprise that my love for whites & neutral extends to my Christmas decor, so this year, I'm attempting to add a few pops of red. My husband will be thrilled, haha.
Isn't this just the cutest advent calendar?! I'm obsessed with it.. My thought is to hang it on the wall (with a command strip, of course) behind the new twine trees.
I thought these red twine ornaments were so cute & a perfect little pop of color.. The string is a fun little addition. TBD whether this will be part of the decor or just used for presents, but I'm thinking it's cute enough to display out by the presents under the tree.
The little knit hats are garland that I just couldn't walk away from.. They are just so darling.
These are more raw wood & silver painted wood ornaments, with some rustic-bling candy canes that I'll hang on the tree.
This cute sign is from home goods and is just so fun!
So, as the sign says, be merry this holiday season. Has anyone else started buying holiday decor? Please say yes, so I feel less crazy ;)
