So I’m kind of into different flavored mimosas these days.. It all started with the watermelon mimosa, which was pretty much my favorite summer drink this past summer. So as the leaves started to change, I started drumming up ideas for a fall inspired mimosa.. Introducing the cider mimosa! Plus it’s so easy that it barely requires a recipe.
serves 2 classy people
- spiced cider
- champagne of choice
Shake the spiced cider - settling is natural. Pour champagne into a champagne glass, to desired split. I do a 75:25 split distribution of champagne to spiced cider, errr.. 3/4 champagne & 1/4 spiced cider (can you tell I work with numbers all day?). This cuts out some of the sweetness from the spiced cider, but if you love it sweeter.. then by all means, go with a 50/50 split. Top with the spiced cider.
